Stormtroopers are the backbone of the tyrannical Galactic Empire, and later the sinister First Order.

Their duty and sacrifice often goes overlooked, probably due to their identical looks. So here are my top 5 Stormtroopers that stood out from the rest.

In a deleted scene from The Last Jedi, Tom Hardy apparently played a Stormtrooper. It’s clear why it was cut, but damn, wouldn’t it be great to have something canon of a Stormtrooper smacking another dude’s ass?

Smartest Stormtroopers Ever

Listen, Kylo Ren can be a little bit of a bitch at times. Especially in The Force Awakens, he’s shown some of his “whiny Skywalker” traits.

So when you showcase the wherewithal to pause and retreat when you come across a tantruming Kylo Ren, you earn a gold star.

I get it, it’s tough to see in those damn Stormtrooper buckets, so how can you hate on guy who’s just trying his best!? Or her best…

This guy is a G. He’s the first every Stormtrooper to blast Princess Leia!

At the time, we didn’t truly know the scope of who Leia was, so at this point in canon she’s just a princess.

But holy shit, could you imagine what would happen if homie accidentally forgot to set his blaster to stun!?

During a massive battle, this dude singled out Leia and straight up took a shot at her! He nailed her in the shoulder but still.
